Sometimes in Life...
...you have to turn the antique sewing machine around so Tanner won't open the drawers only to find him engaging in some other hooligan behavior...

Sequoya
One of my oldest friends, Sequoya, came to visit this weekend. I took her to my favorite part of Seattle, Old Ballard Ave, we lunched at SeƱor Moose, we had super yummy coffee at Cafe Ladro, we took the babes to a great park and we had lots of time to catch up and snuggle with babies.

Bunka & Ruby BFFs
Bunka loves his girl cousin Ruby. They get to spend a lot of time together since Tanner is usually napping. Today at lunch, both were pointing at the empty highchair saying "TT". When Bunka is not whacking Ruby on the head and getting put in time outs, they play and work together quite well.

New Playground
I live in a suburb outside of Seattle, half a block from the town's museum. It's a beautiful, old, turn of the century house that I covet. Lately, my mom and I have been taking the toddlers down there for a quick easy outing. It's become our own personal little playground. It doesn't take much to entertain a one year old (or 3 of them) so walking around the garden, climbing the stairs, picking leaves out of a freezing cold bird bath, or running down the wheelchair ramp are endlessly entertaining activities to them. It makes for fun Hipstamatic fodder for mama/auntie as well.

A little bit crafty
I found some time to be a little bit crafty. I need to do more of this. I have thoughts of sewing baby clothes and needlepointing each member of the family a Xmas stocking but here's a start.

Holiday time
Took the nuggets out to see the tree lighting tonight. They were a bit groggy since we woke them both up from naps to get there in time but they loved the lights.

Feeling better
Our house was hit with the stomach flu this week. Ruby girl first then her papa then me and I got the worst of it. These little buggers kept my spirits up
Thank goodness for husbands and moms. I couldn't have managed the week without them!!
Since the house was a mess, after teaching Bunka to ride the horsey, I put him and Ruby to work cleaning the kitchen.
Here's a sweet shot my sis caught of the twins last night.
